Peggy Spitzner and her father, Hanz-Peter, were the last two registered escapees from the DDR before the official fall of the Berlin Wall! Their daring escape 30 years ago in the trunk of an American serviceman's car is the subject of the book, and upcoming movie, "The Needle in the Ocean!"
